Rowan Chess Club

Beginning this Thursday, September 28, the long-awaited Rowan Chess Fall Tournament will commence.

The tournament is open to all current USCF members.

Where: 2103 James Hall, Rowan University (see attached map and directions below if needed)

When: Thursdays 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19 and 10/26

Time: 7:30pm (doors open at 7pm)

Format: 5 round Swiss, G90; d10, two ½ point byes allowed in all rounds

Bye requests must be made before 7:00pm the Wednesday prior to the round (856-294-7951)

Entry fee: $10 cash only. Prizes based on number of entries and rating distribution

Annette's Cookies before round two (voted best in South Jersey for the 6th consecutive year)

Please arrive by 7:15pm for round one so we can begin as close to 7:30pm as possible

If you will be arriving later than 7:30 pm, please inform me at (856-294-7951) so you can be paired for the first round.

Directions: Rt 55 to exit 50a, Rt 322E, left at a light onto Joseph Bowe Blvd, right at a light onto Stadium Drive.

Pass the football stadium on the left and then James Hall (#6 on map) will be up ahead on the right. Turn left into parking lot O.
